About me

Janina Brady graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Double Honours) in Music and Geography from Maynooth University. She majored in music composition in third year. Janina has always had a keen interest in choral music and throughout her years in secondary school became a valued member of both the chamber choir and ecumenical choir in her school.

Following on from this while studying in Maynooth she joined and was an active member of both the Ladies Choir and the Choral Society in Maynooth and always looked forward to the end of year concerts. As a student of both the violin and piano from an early age, she studied the RIAM syllabi and after completing and excelling in all grades began teaching both these instruments in 2010.

Along with performing, Janina has a keen interest in music therapy and is currently completing her Masters in Music Therapy in UCL. She has volunteered across Cavan in music therapy workshops working with kids of all ages and various disabilities helping them develop and progress through musical interpretation.

From Cavan Janina heads back home regularly to perform as lead violinist with her local parish choir. Janina hopes to instill her love for music in her students at Play Piano
